Call for papers: Ancient Greek and Semantic Theory
Nijmegen, Netherlands, 16-18 December 2010

We invite abstracts covering any topic from the semantics and pragmatics of Ancient Greek. Potential topics include, but are by no means limited to: verbal semantics, case and spatial relations, particles, report constructions, tense, aspect, modality, discourse structure, anaphora, deixis, and quantication. The only limitation is that the analysis should be clearly embedded within a theoretical framework to your choice.

Submission guidelines:
1-page abstracts should be sent in .pdf to AGST@phil.ru.nl. One additional page may be used for examples and references. Examples should be translated and relevant features glossed. The conference language is English. Each presentation will be allotted 40 minutes, including 15 minutes for discussion. The body of your email message should include the title of your presentation, your name, affiliation, and contact information. The deadline for abstract submission is June, 15th 2010. Notification of acceptance will be sent out before July 15th.
